Once upon a time, I went to Shepherd Middle School. Here is the proof!!

Now, I am married and have 2 children. This is my family. My husband’s name is Craig and my 2 children are Nathan and Brooklyn. This is my family. My husband’s name is Craig and my 2 children are Nathan and Brooklyn.

What do I do for fun? My all-time favorite thing to do is lay around somewhere by the water, pool or lake, and READ!!!!

This is my 2 nd year in 6 th grade!!  I moved into this new classroom last year, and look at it now!  I added all the lime green this year to make it more cheerful for us all!

I was busy at home this summer!  I did a lot of home projects! The first one was landscaping!

…and a lot of painting at home!

But we had fun as well…. We took a family road trip to the U.P. and went through a real copper mine

We went to Picture Rocks and saw the 4 th of July Fireworks at the bridge.

And I hauled my family to a few conferences to learn how to be a better teacher.

My time during the school year is spent on you and my own two kids!  I coach competitive cheer for my daughter.  I love watching my son play football. He’s on JV this year. (Trust me: I don’t coach this! Haha)  We will make our own class memories. (Check out my wikispace to see a slide show of last year’s kids)

Oh! Another thing about me…. I’m a huge Twilight fan!!! I absolutely cannot wait until the last Breaking Dawn movie comes out in November!!!

I love school!!! I love the smell, the sounds, and especially the feeling when I see you “get it” and succeed!!!! and English!!!! I love teaching both! I have a major in math

I am a pretty fun and happy teacher. I like to goof around a lot, but make no mistake about it, I’m very serious about teaching you. I get real grumpy if you…. DON’T TURN IN YOUR HOMEWORK!!!

In Math, you will….  Experience hands-on activities  Work in groups and learn from friends  Learn and play games on the computer  Concentrate on one concept a day  Have homework (sorry!!)  Check how you are doing with quizzes online  Get practice tests before the real one  Earn money for the Big Bucks Auction!

In Literature, you will…. read one book together. read one book in a literature circle group with other students each marking period. read one book completely on your own each marking period!
