Chapter 2 The Production Team –Who Does What When?

Chapter 2 Preproduction Team –People who plan the production. –Normally includes: Producer – in charge of team Director Writer Art Director Floor Manager Lighting Director Technical Supervisor

Chapter 2 Producer –States purpose of show (Process Message) –Prepares budget –Prepares production schedule

Chapter 2 Scriptwriter –Script serves as guide for production –Script usually rewritten several times

Chapter 2 Director –Translate the script into specific video and audio images –Works with scriptwriter, art director and other members of preproduction team

Chapter 2 Art Director –Responsible for the set design or taping location –Prepares the Floor Plan – the diagram of scenery, stage properties, chairs, tables, plants, etc.
