11 Scenery, Set Dressing, Props  Creates believable environment for the program  Scenery = the world around you (walls, furniture, trees)  Set Dressing = visual and design elements (lamps, rugs, pictures on the wall)  Props = anything touched by the actors, other than furniture  Exception – if a piece of furniture is used for a purpose other than its intended use

12 Costumes and Make-up  Make the actors look like the characters they portray  Ensure best possible appearance on tv screen
