JCI 100% Efficiency Program 01/05 Objective The objective of the JCI 100% Efficiency Program is to recognize National Organizations that have implemented standard administrative requirements prescribed by JCI. Its objective is to encourage Local and National Organizations to adhere to JCI’s deadlines and implement JCI’s programs.

JCI 100% Efficiency Program 01/05 Recognition National Organizations: National Organizations that achieve 100 points shall be recognized by General Assembly during the JCI World Congress and shall receive a plaque from the JCI President. To enhance competition, JCI shall publish running quarterly scores. National Organizations shall receive rewards from the JCI Headquarters during the course of the year when they are able to meet with the deadlines in each quarter.

JCI 100% Efficiency Program 01/05 RULES 1. Directory Information Each National Organization may: Earn 10 points for uploading the complete National Board and Local Organization information to the JCI website no later than December 31 of the preceding year. The information should include photos, phone and fax numbers, website, and and postal addresses. Earn 7 points for uploading the above information to the JCI website no later than January 31 of the current year. Earn 5 points by uploading the above information to the JCI website no later than February 28 of the current year. Status: NOT CHANGED

Plan of Action and budget Each National Organization may :  Earn 10 points for uploading a plan of action and budget to the JCI website no later than December 31 of the preceding year.  Earn 7 points for uploading a plan of action and budget to the JCI website no later than January 31 of the current year.  Earn 5 points for uploading a plan of action and budget to the JCI website no later than February 28 of the current year. Status: NOT CHANGED

Dues Payment Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for paying its dues no later than April 15 of the current year or for requesting and obtaining approval for a payment plan of its dues no later than February 28 of the current year (see Finance department for payment plan rules).  Earn 7 points for requesting and obtaining approval for a payment plan of its dues no later than April 15 of the current year.  Earn 5 points for completing payment of its dues no later than June 30 of the current year. Status: NOT CHANGED

Officer’s training Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for conducting a National Officers training course (or JCI Lead) and a Local Officers training course (or JCI Achieve) no later than October 31 of the preceding year.  Earn 7 points for conducting a Local and National Officer’s training course no later than December 31 of the preceding year.  Earn 5 points for conducting a Local and National officers training course no later than February 28 of the current year. Status: UPDATED

Awards Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for submitting Award entries at its Area Conference and nominating Awards judges.  Earn 7 points for submitting Award entries at its Area Conference.  Earn 5 points for nominating Award judges. Best Business Plan (BBP) Competition Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for organizing a National Best Business Plan Competition and submitting 3 or more JCI BBP entries within the deadline for the current year.  Earn 7 points for organizing a National Best Business Plan Competition and submitting at least 2 JCI BBP entries within the deadline for the current year.  Earn 5 points for organizing a National Best Business Plan Competition and submitting at least 1 JCI BBP entry within the deadline for the current year. Status: UPDATED

Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for organizing a National Outstanding Young Persons Awards program and submitting at least 3 JCI TOYP entries within the deadline for the current year.  Earn 7 points for organizing a National Outstanding Young Persons Awards program and submitting at least 2 JCI TOYP entries within the deadline for the current year.  Earn 5 points for organizing a National Outstanding Young Persons Awards program and submitting at least 1 JCI TOYP entry within the deadline for the current year. Status: UPDATED

JCI 100% Efficiency Program 01/05 RULES 8. Project Gallery Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for uploading 3 NEW current year projects to the JCI online Project Gallery no later than October 31 of the year in which the project is executed. The number of projects that need to be uploaded for the 10 points are:  From 0 to 200 Members  at least 3 projects.  From 200 to 1000 Members  at least 5 projects  From 1000 and more Members  at least 7 projects. Project Gallery  Earn 7 points by uploading project information and photos to the JCI online Project Gallery as follows:  From 0 to 200 Members  at least 2 projects.  From 200 to 1000 Members  at least 3 projects  From 1000 and more Members  at least 5 projects. Membership Growth Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for achieving a 5% Membership growth or 1000 Members, and declaring such Membership to the JCI Headquarters not later than October 31 of the preceding year.  Earn 7 points for achieving a 3% Membership growth or 500 Members, and declaring such Membership to the JCI Headquarters not later than October 31 of the preceding year.  Earn 5 points for achieving a 2% Membership growth or 300 Members, and declaring such Membership to the JCI Headquarters not later than October 31 of the preceding year. Status: UPDATED

Publications Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for publishing at least four issues of a hardcopy or electronic publication a year, provided this publication carries information on at least one JCI program in each issue.  Earn 7 points for publishing at least two issues of a hardcopy or electronic publication a year, provided this publication carries information on at least one JCI program in each issue.  Earn 5 points for publishing at least one issue of a hardcopy or electronic publication a year, provided this publication carries information on at least one JCI program in that issue. Status: NEW RULE

Corporate Identity Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for incorporating the JCI Corporate Identity Guidelines and signage to its administrative and public relations materials, and ensuring that at least 75% of its Local Organizations (in good standing with the National Organization) follow suit (subject to confirmation by the respective JCI Vice President and/or Area Director). Status: NEW RULE

JCI 100% Efficiency Program 01/05 RULES 12. Corporate Identity Each National Organization may:  Earn 7 points for incorporating the JCI Corporate Identity Guidelines to its administrative and public relations materials, and ensuring that at least 50% of its Local Organizations (in good standing with the National Organization) follow suit (subject to confirmation by the respective JCI Vice President and/or Area Director). Status: NEW RULE

JCI 100% Efficiency Program 01/05 RULES 12. Corporate Identity: Each National Organization may:  Earn 5 points for incorporating the JCI Corporate Identity Guidelines to its administrative and public relations materials, and ensuring that at least 25% of its Local Organizations (in good standing with the National Organization) follow suit (subject to confirmation by the respective JCI Vice President and/or Area Director). Status: NEW RULE

Speaking Competition Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for conducting a National Speaking Seminar, organizing a National Speaking Competition, and registering a contestant for the World Speaking Competition at an Area Conference.  Earn 7 points for organizing a National Speaking Competition and registering a contestant for the World Speaking Contest at an Area Conference.  Earn 5 points for registering a contestant for the World Speaking Competition at an Area Conference. Status: NEW RULE

JCI 100% Efficiency Program 01/05 RULES 14. Participation in JCI Events Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for participating in at least four (4) of the following JCI International events of the current year: JCI World Congress, JCI Area Conference, JCI Academy, Area Academy, NOM Presidents’ Meeting, and JCI Regional Meetings.  Earn 7 points for participating in at least three (3) of the following JCI International events of the current year: JCI World Congress, JCI Area Conference, JCI Academy, and Area Academy.  Earn 5 points for participation in at least two (2) of the following JCI International events of the current year: JCI World Congress and JCI Area Conference. Status: NEW RULE

National 100% Efficiency Program Each National Organization may:  Earn 10 points for running a National 100% Efficiency program and reporting the results of the winning Local Organizations to JCI not later than October 31.  Earn 7 points for running a National 100% Efficiency program and reporting the results of the winning Local Organizations to JCI not later than November 30.  Earn 5 points for running a National 100% Efficiency program and reporting the results of the winning Local Organizations to JCI not later than December 31. Status: NEW RULE
