IN MRS. SCHAEFER’S CLASS

I only have ONE rule! FOLLOW THE WALKER WAY! BE RESPECTFUL! BE RESPONSIBLE! BE SAFE!

BE RESPECTFUL Treat others the way you want to be treated! Be kind to others’ property. Listen when someone else is talking. Walk in a quiet, straight line in the hallway. Mind your own business. Take care of all supplies. Raise your hand. Be patient to ask a question. Include other people in activities.

BE RESPONSIBLE Remember your homework. Do work on time. Turn work in on time. Do work without cheating. Clean up your mess. Be silent during a test. Throw away trash at lunch.

BE SAFE Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. No weapon, including fake ones. Bring gym shoes to gym. Use supplies properly. Walk at all times. Sit in your chair correctly. In the bathroom, do your business, wash your hands with soap, and leave. Push the drier ONE time quietly.

REWARDS Individuals earn paws. PBIS reward on Fridays for a Perfect Pocket. Special coupon for doing it all month. Special reward for continuing for the entire quarter!

Behavior Consequences 1 st time = Slip in pocket 2 nd time = Another slip and note card in pocket recording behavior- Miss intramurals 3 rd time = Another slip plus add reflection to note card and get it signed. 4 th time = Another slip and conference with parents (and principal if necessary). Pockets are cleaned every month.

Behavior Consequences Behaviors included in “The Walker Way” Put your name on your paper. Forgetting 3 times in a month earns a slip. Complete your assignment notebook and get it signed every day. Forgetting 3 times in a week results in a slip.

Homework Consequences 1 st day - Slip in pocket. Complete pink slip and get it signed. Return the assignment and pink slip the next day. You may complete assignment in study hall. 2 nd day- If not returned, complete another pink slip, and you will lose 10%. Parents will be contacted. After that it will earn a 0%. After 3 pink slips, you will earn a minor to be signed by parents and a lunch detention. Three minors will earn a major, and you will meet with the principal. Pockets are cleaned every month.
