*****Get a notebook and folder *****Get a piece of masking tape for name Setting up Notebook  Step 1: Get a sticky tab or piece of tape and put your name on the front of the notebook  Step 2: Number your first 16 pages, front is 1 back is 2. Label these warmups  Step 4: Write today’s warmup… the date and the question

WarmUp: What can I do at Lincoln High if I am struggling in some classes? 1.Before school, after school, or over lunch you can work with Mr. Mason. 2.ARC: Forced tutoring… 3.Link Zone: Tutoring by choice in the library

1. You will be given money for a variety of things such as  a. completing warmups  b. Being 1 of the first 10 in their seats and working..etc  c. Helping with cleanup  d. Getting A’s on tests and quizzes  e. Creating the best assignments in computer lab  F. Winning Lotteries  2. You can only make 1$, 5$, $10  3. At the end of class you can quickly buy things such as gum, candy, pop, pencils, notebooks…….  4. You will be charged money for using the restroom during class and needing pencils.  5. Once the money is given to you it is YOUR responsibility, I will not refund stolen or lost money, you can keep it in the room at your own peril.

DISCIPLINE Unacceptable classroom behavior is viewed as a learning moment. The general discipline pattern in Mason’s class will follow this step system but is highly modified for individual students Undesirable Behavior-  Safe Seat  Buddy Room in another teachers room with science work  Afterschool to make up missed time-  Team Meeting  Parent Contact  Team Focus in Mr. Mason’s room for an entire day-  Referral to Administrator SCIENCE STORE 1.Students will be able to earn science dollars a number of ways: a.Completing homework b.Completing Warmups c.Winning the weekly work lottery d.Completing all assignments e.Answer questions correctly on clicker games f.Helping out with classroom jobs 2.The store will be open after school, before school, and during the last 2 minutes of selected class days. 3.Mr. Mason is not responsible for lost or stolen money.
