About CSQ Independent industry-funded Supporting: – Career seekers – Apprentices – Workers – Employers – Construction industry stakeholders CSQ provides industry support, information, advice and funding assistance specifically for training

CSQ’s Engagement Services CSQ provides direct engagement with the Queensland construction industry, RTO’s and schools to deliver services and support.

CSQ’s Industry Support Officer (ISO) Providing direct support to employers, schools, parents and students who are participating in a CSQ pre-apprenticeship programs. The ISO helps with the transition of pre-apprenticeship students into full-time apprenticeships/traineeships, or the engagement of employers in local training programs. CSQ Framework

CSQ Pre-Apprenticeship Programs CSQ School programs: – Doorways 2 Construction (D2C) – Doorways 2 Civil Construction (D2CC) Trade Start Other School / industry programs -Constructive Kids – Origin Alliance & Abigroup -Gold Coast School of Construction – Hutchinson Builders

CSQ School Program Advantage Broad and general introduction raises awareness of the career opportunities in the industry Linking young people with employers for real work opportunities through SWL Graduates have a clear idea of what a career in construction involves - improves retention The initiative aims at providing young people with a solid foundation of skill, knowledge and experience - improves productivity for employers CSQ Employment Incentive - $3000 to employers who take on successful graduates

Doorways 2 Construction (D2C) Delivered in approximately 70 Qld schools D2C is the industry preferred model for school based training – Certificate I Construction – White Card safety induction – 160 hours on-the-job Structured Workplace Learning D2CC – delivered in approximately 13 Qld Schools – Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation – White Card safety induction – 80 hours on-the-job Structured Workplace Learning

CSQ Trade Start Program Pre-employment program for school leaver – career seekers – approximately 14 weeks duration – Certificate I Construction – White Card safety induction – 160 hours on-the-job Structured Workplace Learning – Intro to Green Skills – Life skills program Employment Incentive for successful participants
