Presentation transcript:

You must use the frame geometry slide from your bike presentation. Decide if you want to design your bike for a Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large person. Your chart may be different.

1. Front Plane > New Sketch 2. Draw a horizontal construction line. This is the bottom line as shown in the Frame Geometry above. 3. Right-click on the line. Select the boat anchor to lock the line.

4. Sketch > Line Draw a path for the Seat Post (A) See the your chart for the angle and length. 5. New Plane - end of the line. Sketch a Profile Feature > Sweep Profile Seat Tube

6. Sketch > Line Draw the Head Tube (E) See the your chart for the angle and length. 7. New Plane - end of the line. Sketch a Profile Feature > Sweep Profile Head Tube

9. Sketch > Line Draw the Top Tube. 8. Front Plane > New Sketch 10. New Plane - end of the line. Sketch a Profile (Ellipse) Feature > Sweep Profile Top Tube

12. Sketch > Line Draw the Down Tube. 11. Front Plane > New Sketch 13. New Plane - end of the line. Sketch a Profile (Ellipse) Feature > Sweep Profile Down Tube

15. Sketch > Circle. 14. Front Plane > New Sketch 16. Boss-Extrude > Mid Plane Bracket Shell

17.Cut Extrude Seat Tube, Head Tube and Bracket Shell 18. Fillet all intersections
