¿CUÁNDO USO UN PRONOMBRE REFLEXIVO?  How do you know when to use a reflexive verb?  You use it when the infinitive verb, or unconjugated verb, has se attached to it.  Can you think of any verbs with se attached to it?  Despertarse  Lavarse  Maquillarse  Acostarse

¿CÓMO SE CONJUGA EL VERBO?  How do we conjugate these verbs, if they end in se?  There are 4 steps to conjugating reflexive verbs:  1. Take off the se (Lavarse → Lavar)  2. Conjugate the verb to the appropriate subject (Lavar → Lavo)  3. Put the reflexive pronoun back, but in front (Lavo → Se Lavo)  4. Change the pronoun to match the subject (Se Lavo → Me Lavo)  Me lavo means I wash myself.

 For stem-changing verbs, it is the same exact steps, except, there is a stem-change.  The stem-change still happens on the second syllable from the left (or the vowel to the left of the infinitive endings –ar, -er, -ir) Y, ¿LOS VERBOS CON EL CAMBIO DE RAÍZ?
