A District Wide Plan for IAQ  Nationally; School occupants are getting sick  EPA IAQ Tools for Schools Kit  Common sense approach  In most cases, larger school districts will not move to establish an IAQ program until a disaster strikes  Baker School; The Okaloosa County Disaster

IAQ is NOT Rocket Science

Steps to Implement a District-wide IAQ Program  Organize internal approach for tackling IAQ problems.  Obtain buy-in from the upper management  Organize a district IAQ team.  Need Key Players  Assign IAQ coordinators to each school.  Obtain funding for IAQ improvements.  Grants  Capital Budget

Steps to Implement a District-wide IAQ Program  Conduct IAQ TfS Kit training.  Education is the Key at all levels  Conduct walkthroughs at each school.  Prioritize IAQ improvements.  School wide problems  Conduct refresher classes about overall IAQ TfS implementation.

Steps Needed to Implement a District-Wide IAQ Program  Organize internally how to approach tackling IAQ problems.  Organize a district IAQ team.  Assign IAQ coordinators to each school in the District.  Research finance vehicles to obtain funding for IAQ improvements.

Steps Needed to Implement a District-Wide IAQ Program  Conduct a training session for all individual school coordinators and school faculty and staff to familiarize them with the IAQ TfS Kit.  Conduct walkthroughs at each school.  Prioritize IAQ Improvements.  Conduct refresher classes about overall IAQ TfS implementation to address any concerns school staff and faculty may have.
