4. Key Components and Responsibilities: Key Components and Responsibilities: Program Management Assessments Direct Services and Instruction Collaboration with staff and parents

5. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT Program Management: Keep up to date records of students with the help of staff. Help develop a schedule for implementing Math and Science Assessments. Work on budgets to support initiatives with input from staff. Write grants and research special projects.

6. Assessments Help administer district-wide Math and Science assessments for grades K to 3. Score and interpret results of tests K-8. Analyze and report on results Interpret data for identifying students and the placement of students in programs Make recommendations for program improvements based on assessment results.

7. Direct Services/Instruction Provide direct instruction to students that have been identified needing more skills. Consult with staff at team times. Work on model lessons and collaboratively teach with teachers. Participate in curriculum meetings. Provide staff development such as information sessions. Keep parents informed by providing educational materials to help them with their children’s Math and Science interests and skills.

8. Collaboration Work with administrators at both buildings. Meet with teaching teams and individual teachers to assist with instructional planning. Provide information for school publications and websites. Train volunteers that support Math and Science programs.
