#MATHSWAG Grading Procedures/Policies-6th Grade -Students will have a minimum of nine grades during each quarter -All assignments are weighted equally -Follow the MJH policy regarding absences -Assignments will be graded 'as is' when they are due in the shared folder -There are NO bonus opportunities.

#MATHSWAG Grading Procedures/Policies-7th Grade -Students will have a minimum of nine equally weighted grades which will combine for 80% of the total grade for the quarter -There will be one quarterly exam which will equal 20% of the total grade for the quarter. -There are NO bonus opportunities other than test corrections.

#MATHSWAG Assignment Types-7th Math All assignments that are for a grade will be completed in class. No assignments for a grade will be permitted to be completed at home or in another class. All graded work will be referred to as an 'assessment' in class and on TeacherWeb

#MATHSWAG Statewide Grading Scale A B C D F 66 and below 7th graders earn numeric grades ( ) 6th graders earn quality point grades (0-4)

#MATHSWAG Test Corrections Math Classes School Wide Students who receive a grade of 'C' or lower are allowed to do test corrections. No grade older than one week will be allowed to be corrected and is due within 5 school days from the date the assignment is returned to the students.

#MATHSWAG Test Corrections Math Classes School Wide Students must copy the question onto a separate piece of paper and show work. The answer must be the correct answer in order to receive credit. Only one point per correct answer (out of 100) may be given back No grade should go up higher than one letter grade

#MATHSWAG Homework -Assigned on every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night. -Homework should take no more than 20 minutes. -It needs to be on the student's desk for me to check at the beginning of class. -Homework is checked for completion and for work shown for EACH problem. -Complete a responsibility checklist if the student did not complete the homework
