Membership Requirements Business Technology Department course or an Economics course this school year (fall or spring semester) $20 Dues Dues MUST be in by Oct. 9 Participation –Competitive events –Fundraising –Community Service
What do FBLA Members do? Participate in regional, state, and national competitions and conferences –Must qualify for states and nationals Fundraise for charities and community events –Fundraising is essential to better your experience as a member –Suggestions are always noted Service to community –We ARE a community service club
Charities State: PA Ronald McDonald House – –There will be a special video contest for members promoting the RMH (3 minute max) Deadline: November 7th –Locations: Danville, Hershey, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Scranton
Fundraisers Hot Chocolate –Sign up to help FBLA sell hot chocolate on Friday morning Percentage of profits at local restaurants Walkathon (Fall) –October 17th (October 24th rain date) Any other suggestions will be noted and considered –We NEED your help!!
Dues $20 – Due by October 9 th Must pay dues before signing up for competitions Pay Isabelle in A111 during enhancement only! Preferably in an envelope labeled with your name

Competitions pafbla.org – list of different events –Also see Mrs. Rossiello or Mrs. Masishin “Run-offs” –If more than the required amount sign up for a category, RLC participants will be decided through testing Team events – 3 people –Must place first at RLC to qualify for SLC If you qualify for SLC, you will be expected to attend –April –Excused from 3 days of school/sports –Opportunity to qualify for NLC (Atlanta, GA)
FBLA Meetings This Year… Attendance taken at each meeting –Be sure to sign your name on sign-in sheet Meetings only once a month –Must attend to maintain membership Responsible to sign up for meetings on enhancement scheduler on Powerschool Meetings are important to attend to keep updated with club events and competitions
