2. Congratulations!
First of all, we would like to congratulate all of the qualifiers for their hard work, dedication, and performance at State Leadership Conference!

3. What is fbla? Future Business Leaders of America.
Nationally-recognized organization created for business-oriented students who want to learn more about the field and develop leadership skills.
This year, the FBLA-PBL National Leadership Conference will be held from June 29 – July 2.

4. Code of Conduct
During the course of National Leadership Conference (NLC), all students will have to follow the CFISD Code of Conduct that they signed prior to State Leadership Conference (SLC).
Main Rules:
Be back in the hotel by night fall.
Proactively communicate through WhatsApp group.
Be in the room by curfew and room check.
Travel together.
No hotel room charges.
No cabs or public transportation.

5. events
Participate in competitive events that give members a place of distinction!
Competitive events test your abilities and knowledge in various fields of business
Ex. Accounting, Business Law, Marketing, Personal Finance, etc.
Community Service Events and Fundraising for Charities
March of Dimes
Business Workshops
Builds knowledge of practical business skills
Taught by corporate America CEO’s and business leaders
Helps network

6. Rooming
We will be coordinating rooming situations once all the money has been paid, and the hotel has been booked.
There will be 4 people to each room, and everyone must be back in the room by curfew every night (midnight).
Students will be allowed to choose their roommates, but if there is any conflict, rooms may be decided by officers and Mrs. Cunningham.

7. Money
As a district, all students will divide the cost of the CFISD Administrator.
We recommend students to fundraise to lower the cost for nationals since it is an expensive trip.
Hotel is $ with 4 students to a room.

2 students to a room - $601
FBLA-PBL Registration fee for NLC is $105
Regarding airfare, FBLA-PBL has a deal/discount with United and is offering flights for as low as $94.
The faster we collect the money, the faster we can book the deals/discounts before they run out and fundraise to lower the total cost.

8. suggestions
We will be communicating together during the National Leadership Conference through a WhatsApp group with parents, students, and Mrs. Cunningham.
For those who are doing a test-only event, there are helpful open events in topics such as Leadership and Microsoft Office for which you can place in at NLC.
The Workshops at Nationals will be extremely useful for those that attend, so make sure to attend a few!
Study before conference to prepare for your test and/or case study!

9. deadlines
The deadline for all the housing, registration, and airfare cost submission is April 4.
Before April 1, we will be collecting a $300 down payment from prospective attendees.
