Purpose of Persuasion Persuasion is a part of your daily life as a human being. The purpose of persuasion is to simply to convince. Photo: j jpg,

Aim of Persuasion Persuasion will cause a person to act in a particular way or hold a particular point view. Persuasion occurs in different situations such as the inter-school debates, inter-prep debates, debates for president of the students’ council,advertisements and other practical forms of persuasive speech and writing which occur all around-and to you- daily.

Importance of Persuasive Techniques It is important that you are able to identify the techniques used in persuasion. This will help you to make more informed decisions when you make choices! Additionally, when faced with persuasive techniques you will be able to recognise, anticipate and assess.
