Presidents’ Sharing Time Phyllis Abramson Hadassah Suffolk President

Hadassah Suffolk Chai Society The Suffolk Region ended 2014 with 44 new Chai Society members. We achieved this by: Highlighting the $180 annual donation as doable for most of us Honoring the woman who said yes at our Awards Region Luncheon in November, Commissioning a chai pin which has been copyrighted.

Hadassah Suffolk Chai Society In celebration and gratitude of your becoming a member of the Hadassah Chai society, we would like to thank you with this exclusive “Love Chai” hand crafted Chai brooch. The new design of this pin symbolizes an important concept. First, the heart, becoming a part of the Chai, symbolizes the generous donation you have contributed to become a member of the Chai Society, a donation from the heart. The random hand applied texturing of the brass ensures that each pin is unique and references the antique golden brass vessels found in many ancient Israeli sites. The vintage finish endows the brooch with an historical archeological symbolism: with which we honor and recall the times history and religious foundation of Israel. Designed exclusively for Hadassah and hand crafted by international award winning public sculptors and artists Diane and Mark Weisbeck, who can boast three generations of Hadassah Lifetime family members. “Love Chai” copyright 2014 Weisbeck Design.
