2 Purpose of the Foundation and Organizational Structure
The Zonta International Foundation funds the approved charitable and educational programs of Zonta International. Without ZIF, we could not deliver the Zonta projects and education programs. The Foundation was established in 1984 and incorporated in The Foundation is governed by the officers and directors that Zonta members elect at the international convention.

3 How are projects selected?

4 Zonta International Foundation Funding
Zonta Clubs Funds the charitable and education programs of ZI. Contributions go entirely to program support and development. ZI membership dues support operating expenses. Clubs are requested to give 1/3 of funds raised to ZIF. Friends of Zonta Zonta Members

5 2018 – 2020 Biennium Fundraising Goal = US$5,000,000 .

6 District 4 Foundation Ambassadors Goals for 2018-2020
 Encourage all clubs to donate to Zonta International.  We are striving for 100% up from 92%. Increase individual donations from 26.7% of the membership to 35% of the district members.  Educate the members of District 4 through workshops, district communications, Area Directors and Club visits. We will have 18 touch points for the biennium.

7 The Mary E. Jenkins 1919 Society
Established to honor individuals who entrusted their legacy to the Foundation through a planned gift. Each planned gift helps to ensure the future of Zonta’s programs to empower women.

8 Campaigns and Giving Opportunities
Zonta Birthday (8 November) ZISVAW Campaign (November - December) Zonta Rose Day/International Women’s Day (8 March) Celebrating successful events or milestone anniversaries Memorials when Zontians pass away Convention recognition (30 April 2020) Annual Report recognition/End of fiscal year (31 May)
