Today we’re going to tell you about the Golden Eagle. It lives in the European and Asian mountains. Hope you enjoy learning about the Golden Eagle and we hope you learn some new facts about them.

 Today I’m going to tell you about golden baby eagles and eggs. Its nesting grounds are in the European and Asian mountains. That’s where they like to nest. The baby golden eagles are white with brown speckles. Baby golden eagles eat fish, mice, rabbits, foxes and deer. That’s what a baby golden eagle’s life is like.

 The golden eagle makes a very big nest for a family of eagles. They make it a little bit deep for comfort. They cover it with seaweed! Some times other little birds make little nest on the edge of the nest and I thought that was really cool.

The golden eagle is 6 to 15 pounds. The beak helps the eagle rip his food. They bring the food that they caught to their babies. They also make their nest high in the trees to see if there are enemies. They are one of the birds of prey.

 They eat rabbits, mice, foxes and deer. They are now protected by law. Their territory is up to 60 square miles. They stay with their mate most of their lives.

 Did you learn anything? We hope you did!  THE END
