2  Only lives in North America  They live in a nest  Lives high up in trees or mountains so people don’t step on their eggs

3  Their talons are big and curved and that helps it move rocks where food might be  It has a snowy white Head that can hide in snow  They have huge sticking feet to help it grab their prey

4  Lives in a temperate forest  They live high up in trees and mountains  Some bald eagles live near national parks  Some times they change homes because of the weather  In the winter they go to Canada because if they went to a warmer informant it rains a lout and it might brake their nest

5  Bald Eagles are Birds  live up to 20 to 40 years  They were endangered until 1995 because they were eating so many fish and fisherman got mad  They were on the endangered list in 43 lower states of USA

6 They have good eye sight to find prey when they’re in the sky Have hollow bones to help it fly  They have a skull to save its brain from breaking  They have lungs too help it breath

7  They eat small animals like rabbits  They will steal food from other predators  Favorite food is fish  They get there food be diving down and scooping it up in the air  People kill Bald eagles

8  Have sharp talons to grab food  Have a curved beak to bite hard things  Their feathers are black and white  Weigh up to 15 pounds  There 30 to 4 Inches long

9  A Bald Eagle egg is put in a nest for six weeks  Lay one to three eggs at a time  Born gray and then turn brown  they’re called eaglets when they're babies  When they’re 12 weeks old they leave the nest

10  Live near water so they don’t need to fly along time to get fish  They fly to get food because its faster  They live in high places so they can just fly down and grab there food  They change homes in seasons and that helps it stay alive because of the weather  Northern Bald Eagles go north when they travel because they don’t no if it’s sunny or not tr a vl Li v e n e e a r w at e r s o th e y d o n’ t n e e d to

11  They the symbol of the USA  On the coins and dollars  Their Nest are called Aeries  Part of the Hawks family
