2 What does my animal look like?
Bald Eagles have a white head and tail with a brownish black color on its body. Its wingspan is 6 to 7½ feet. It weighs 10 to 14 pounds. Its ears are small.

3 Where does my animal live?
Bald Eagles live almost everywhere except Antarctica. You can find some in Alaska through Canada and the Great Lake area.

4 What does my animal eat? The Bald Eagle is a carnivore that eats fish ducks, geese, and other birds.

5 What adaptations does it have to help it survive?
How It helps the Animal Survive Talons So it can carry food Feathers So it can fly faster Light bones So it can fly with less effort Sharp beak So it can rip apart its food

An Eagle’s feathers weigh more than its bones. An Eagle on the move flies at about 40 miles per hour.
