The STEP’s Employment Program Opportunity is knocking

The STEP’s program is here to help your student:  Develop confidence in personal abilities  Learn job readiness  Gain skills needed to excel in the workplace  Prepares them to achieve job satisfaction

The Employment component of the STEP’s program is led by a Job Coach! Our job coach will help each student:  Assess strengths and weaknesses  Identify strengths as well as any limitations.  Create a job plan based on student interests and abilities.  Provide necessary training for desired job  Assist student and potential employers to find appropriate job placement.

Continued support  Once your student is hired, the job coach will provide on-site, one-on-one training. This will enable the student to adjust to their new roles in the workforce, and provide encouragement and support.  A post high supervisor will continue to monitor the students’ job performance providing feedback, evaluations, and continued support.
