Ideas are superficial and limited research is used. Limited specification points are addressed Alternative design ideas are realistic and workable. Ideas are detailed and relevant research is used. Ideas address most specification points. Alternative design ideas are realistic, workable and detailed. GCSE Resistant Materials - Major Project: Initial sketches Initial sketches This will make up the first page of your ideas section. It will be 1 page only. You need to fill the page with a range of initial sketches that show the start of your designing process. They should show a real range of ideas – be creative – and add colour and annotations. You need to produce between 8-12 sketches. You must do the work on a border sheet and your isometric grid can be used. You will need to include suggestion of materials, joining methods, etc in your annotations. This will completed in your double lesson in the week beginning 9th September.
