WHAT TO EXPECT Speaking…..talk, talk, talk, and talk some more, with partners, in groups, in presentations, on the phone Listening……music, news, advertisements, movie clips, TV, native speakers Writing……incorporating more grammatical structures, especially past tense and transitions

WHAT TO EXPECT…….. Reading…..lyrics, recipes, poetry, travel guides, news, authentic texts CULTURE…..music, history, art, geography, poetry, dance, travel, fashion, food, nature, animals, sports

WHAT IS NEEDED IN CLASS…. Spiral notebook and composition notebook Pens or pencils/ colored pencils and markers Flashdrive/Thumbdrive 1” ½ inch 3 ring binder/5 tabs MOST IMPORTANT: A Positive Attitude  Without a “can-do”, “will try” attitude, success in this class will be exceptionally difficult. Rethink your decision to take Spanish IV if you are missing this most critical component! Curriculum is based on Exprésate 3 textbook * Donations of Kleenex boxes and antibacterial hand cleanser would be greatly appreciated
