Web based form for changing existing user information Add New User or Modify Existing Users Users may be added or updated by uploading a.csv file or entering information in fields on the website. Reminder: All users (except DSA & DTSA) were deleted from UMS and must be re-added for the school year Set Student Test Settings and Accommodations Assign default test language, print size, and other accommodations for individual students through UMS. Batch upload (multiple students) Web form (single student) A student’s default settings can be modified by the TA on a test-by-test basis through the TA Interface.

Create sessions in advance of testing Sessions can span one or more days Sessions may include multiple grade/subjects –Same test (grade/subject) can exist in multiple sessions –(Ctrl + click) to select multiple tests for your session Upon TA login: All current sessions are automatically reopened (students will still require approval) Past sessions may be reopened for additional use May administer multiple test sessions simultaneously View students currently testing across all open sessions via the “All Sessions” tab Targeted Up students need to test in a session containing the targeted up grade level (i.e. A 5th grader targeting up would have to test in a session containing the 6 th grade test).

Approving Students in Your Session  Approval is now done on a test-by-test basis within a session (in sessions with multiple tests, the Approve Students screen is specific for an individual test - subject and grade). Use the drop-down to view students waiting to be approved for a different test in your session (see above).  “Approve All” approves all students for that test, not all students in all open sessions  TAs can “Deny” a student entry into a session, examples of reasons to deny students would be if they have incorrect information or are not physically present in the session Assign Test Language, Print Size, Other Accommodations, and Modifications –Students may change print size for individual items after test starts with the zoom feature –Cannot change a student’s test language once they have started that test –Only available languages for that test are displayed in drop-down (i.e. Spanish will not be displayed for Reading tests) –Other accommodations for students on IEPs (“None”, “One or More”) –Record Modification Codes (invalidates test)

TA Workbook Displays Session (high-level details) Current Sessions Past Sessions Future Sessions “Details” displays all test history for that session “Manage” navigates to that session Manage Sessions Monitor student test activity for current day in Active Sessions Ability to pause/resume individual student tests or all tests in a session Automatic or manual screen refresh Tests started in one session can be continued in another Print session information Approve student requests for printed passages Always use the LOG OUT button (Do NOT simply close the browser to exit)

[Go] to Details from Current Sessions or Manage Sessions tab to view all student testing activity for that session (including past tests) Students appear in session in which they complete the test Shows returning students, location in test, in review, complete (score) Student information can be sorted by any field Student test activity information is now located in session in which student complete their test and is available to the TA for that session.
