Project diary Note: I have added comments in the on going plan, to explain the change in dates.

6/09/11 Today I have started making my initial plan which has not yet been completed. Using the website I have made the layout of the plan with subtitles and filled in a few dates. I have also created a sources table which has been saved in the project management Folder.

17/09/11 At home I have completed the initial plan and saved it into my planning folder.

20/09/11- 23/09/11: This lesson I have made sure that my plan was easy to view, however I wasn’t able to agree on the plan with my teacher and my test buddy. I also created an on-going plan and saved it. I was able to start building a database for the project and I was able to validate the group field and import the data set however I was unable to complete the evidence of how the validation rules were done and how the database was made in the lesson.

23/09/11- 23/09/11: I have created the evidence for my database.

7/10/11: This lesson I found details of three more items in different food groups. After finding these new records I added the websites used into my sources table and most importantly added the new records to the database. I then asked my test buddy to check my work and I was told that no improvements were needed. The evidence of the 3 new items with pictures of them inside the database.

18/10/11: This lesson I created a questionnaire using the set instructions, making sure that the questions were appropriate for a spread sheet analysis. After I had completed the work I asked my test buddy to check my work and I was told that I needed to improve the alignment therefore I fixed it and then saved it in my evidence folder.

21/10/11: I carried out my survey of at least 20 students and I began creating a spread sheet. However I was unable to analyse the data and present the results using spread sheet tools therefore I completed it at home.

8/11/11 This lesson I began by asking my test buddy to check my spread sheet I was told to make it look more appealing therefore I have added my colour scheme to the spreadsheet. I then began doing my queries following the information given to me on the DIDA website. I was able to finish the queries however I was unable to complete the reports due to confusion.

11/11/11 Today I was able to finish my reports and finish off my evidence presentation.

22/11/11 Today I was able to get feedback on my reports and make improvements. I was also able make a start to my meal card and I used the Waitrose website to help me find healthy meals which I then placed into the meal card and my sources table. Using paint I created original images for my meal card. Today I was also able to ask my test buddy to check my work, and I was told to make it look more appealing and to use a constant colour scheme, once I had done that, I began looking at what has to be done for the next section which is the information point.

25/11/11 I was able to finish my information point to the best of my ability and I was also able to look at the criteria for the challenge card. Using the Olympic values research I have decided to base my challenge card on Eat Well as I believe that It will

25/11/11 This lesson I was able to begin making my information point and fortunately finished it. I had done research into all the slides and made a PowerPoint of research to go along side it. I then updated my ongoing plan.

28/11/11 This lesson I was able to create and complete my challenge card, however I was unable to ask my test buddy for feedback.

17/01/12 Today I was able to ask my test buddy to check my challenge card and my information point and make any necessary improvements. I added my original images of fishes to make it more attractive to the target audience. And I have added a larger area for the weekly progress. I have chosen to use the following Olympic value: respect because I believe that people should care for their health to be successful.

31/12/12 Today I spent the lesson getting class feedback from my teacher and friends and improved the areas in which were raised. I also decided to improve my sources table to suite my colour scheme and prove the information I have given in a power point.

6/12/12 Today I began creating my e-portfolio on mind map and I was able to input all my work into the different folders. I was also able to begin creating a home page by making a title on Photoshop and then inserting it into the mind map. Preview of the web page

9/12/12 I was able to complete my eportfolio and web page and I have updated my sources table. I have also made sure that my eportfolio is compatible with the moderators tool kit by looking at the tool kit and making sure that all my work has been saved as those particular files for example Microsoft word files as PDFs. I have then made sure that it works on a standalone computer.
