Class Rules and Expectations Students are expected to be successful, responsible math students! Students will bring to class each day: Binder and Notebook Charged laptop (and charger, if needed) Completed Homework Sharpened pencils Willingness to learn

Binder and Notebook Class Notes and Class work Include the date and topic/objective each day Take excellent notes Write down every example Complete each problem assigned Homework Begin each assignment at the top of the page Write the date and assignment Complete each problem assigned Daily Problems Complete assigned problems at the beginning of class Date each problem set! Stay neat and organized! Show all work!

Assessment Homework Homework Notebook Quizzes May include homework, class notes, class examples, class work, daily problems, vocabulary, and anything else you are told to include in your notebook and/or binder Class Participation and Preparation, Class work Quizzes and Tests Homework/Participation/Class work (15% of overall term) Tests/Quizzes (85% of overall term grade) Students may choose to earn 20% credit back on any test or quiz by accurately completing test/quiz corrections.

Extra Help Extra Help is available immediately after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Students should come with completed homework, extra problems attempted, and/or specific questions on previous homework assignments.
