Excellence Research Training Skills Mobility

Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions Definitions = continuation of, still current,FP7 program "People", but with... Changes in the structure = 8 existing funding schemes are transformed into four new but recognizable patterns (ITN, IF, RISE, COFUND); Budget ( ) = 6.2 billion to achieve the following objectives: Acquiring new skills through excellent initial training of researchers; Encouraging excellence through international and intersectoral mobility Stimulating innovation through intersectoral transfer of knowledge (industry, higher education, non-academic sector); Better use of structural funds through co-financing activities

Key features of MSCA Open to all domains of research and innovation from basic research up to market take-up and innovation services Entirely bottom-up approach Participation of non-academic sector strongly encouraged, especially industry and SMEs Mobility as the key requirement - funding on condition participants move from one country to another : 10 calls foreseen -> one call per each MSC action per year + one call covering 2 years of European Researchers' Night ( 015/main/h2020-wp1415-msca_en.pdf)
