A Note About Grading Practiced from Mr. Cramer How kids will be assessed and graded: Kids are graded only on where they are in relationship to the standards based on a body of evidence: this means at least three pieces of evidence that demonstrate where the student is in relationship to the standard. This is a district expectation across all elementary schools. Not doing homework, or assignments not turned in do not count against a child’s grade. Homework should not be a part of a child’s grade, however, the homework a child does, should provide practice on the content taught in class, which, in turn should help them perform better on assessments.
