UWC’s 50 th Anniversary Celebrating with Action 16 – 22 September 2012

A week long celebration for UWC’s 50 th anniversary 16 to 22 September 2012 – with a focus on Wednesday 19 September Open to all students, school and college staff, alumni, national committee members and other volunteers Combination of physical and online actions – activities, events and campaigns What is ‘Celebrating with Action’?

Showcase UWC’s challenging and transformational education Demonstrate the impact of the UWC experience Highlight UWC’s diversity Find old friends and/or make new ones Increase awareness of UWC Join the celebration

Any UWC constituent or individual member can initiate and organise an action The action can be limited to a single participant or open to many Multiple digital platforms will be utilised to create a robust and flexible hub to connect actions and participants as well as sharing the action with the whole movement Collective impact will raise the awareness and profile of UWC How will it work?
