A day at school …

At 7:45am, we arrive at school on the bus. When the education assistant opens the gate at 7:50 a.m., we can go in. We have a little break for 5 minutes, enough time to gossip and put our books in our lockers.

«The bell's ringing! We are in 209!» Shouts Elise. The meeting point is room 209, where we wait for Mr. Dreno, our History teacher.

When we are settled down, the teacher takes the register. Nobody is absent. We take up the lesson about the French Revolution: the storming of the Bastille, … At the end of our course, the teacher says “No homework for tomorrow ! ” So good !

In the stairs, between 2 lessons !

We go to the Maths lesson, with Mr. Richaud: it's 8:55 a.m... Today, we don't write a lesson. We just do exercises, to be ready for the fractions test, next Friday.

The Maths lesson

9:50 a.m. : We go to the playground for 15 minutes to go and look at the « absent teachers » board, and, of course, to relax and gossip !

T H E B R E A K...

In the next hour, we don't have any lesson. It's study hall or CDI (Resources and Information Center, in other words, the library), we choose. In the study hall, we can just work. In the CDI there are books, comic strips, novels, computers, and tables where we can work in teams. But Mrs Minne can't take a lot of people, so she chooses and those who can't go to the CDI have to go to the study hall. We are chosen ! Today, we are working on the second assignment of the correspondence in English, to introduce our school, for you ! We take some photos, and continue to write our text.

At 11:00 am, it's the English lesson, with Mrs Vincent. Today, we have an audio test. 11:55 a.m. we stay with Mrs Vincent, but for another type of work: the “30 minutes for Denmark”, when we can continue the assignments. We go to the computer room. We look at our photos and continue to write our text on the computer.

English lesson...

There we are, it’s 12:22 a.m., the bell has just rung and we are all hungry. We put our bags in the lockers and we go and have lunch. But we first have to wait because classes go one at a time. Eventually it’s our turn. First, we wash our hands. Then we go and take our tray thanks to our canteen electronic card. We choose our menu and we sit at a table, where we chat and we eat. When everyone is done, we can go. We put our trays on the conveyor belt and we leave.

It’s already 1:20 p.m., we hurry to the lockers to get our bags. Then we go to the front of the gymnasium gate. At 1:25 p.m. Mr. Dutreige, our P.E teacher, arrives and takes us inside. After getting changed, we prepare the sports equipment before our lesson begins. At 2:10 p.m., we have to put the sports equipment back in its place and get changed again.

Sport lesson...

It's 2:28 p.m., just in time for Physics. Today we learn about molecules with Miss Sarrade.

The molecules...

3:20 p.m.: at last, it’s time for a break. We put our books in our lockers, and we gossip and relax.

They’re all red !

3:30 p.m.: TUDUDUDUDU it’s the bell that tells us we have to go back to the classroom for French with Mrs Renard in room 201. We discuss about «La vague», a movie that we saw last week. Then we go to the computer workshop to find some information about this film. It’s now 4:25 p.m. and it’s the end of the French lesson.

We go to our lockers to get all our things. Then we leave school and take the bus home.

The end.
