DEPARTMENT OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT, PRIMARY INDUSTRY, FISHERIES AND RESOURCES Mining Management Plans Summary QUESTIONS? MMP’s are required as part of and application for an Authorisation. The MMP need to be updated every 12 months for ongoing operational activities. The MMP must include a security cost estimate. The MMP is auditable and stand alone document. The MMP is a planning document and needs to be comprehensive enough to be read by anyone on site giving them an understanding of the activities, obligations and commitments of the project.
