Introduction The computer technology is one of the highest competition in the business world. Human resources in Computer Science are needed. The trend of studying in Computer Science is increased. What are you looking for from studying in Computer Science ?

Problem Statement Most people choose to study in Computer Science because Graduates get a job easier A popular field A good placement rate. People do not think about required competency for this field.

Hypothesis Computer Science students who have more competency will be expected to get better opportunity.

Objectives Prove competency which affect to job recruitment. Study the career trend for Computer Science graduates. Change the attitude of prospective students of Computer Science.

Definition of Competency Competency is the ability to do something well or effectively. Competency  Competence. Competence refers to the person’s ability, which is What a person can do Underlying Motivation and self-knowledge Effective performance

Literature Review The Making the Match project (by Rush and Ever 1987) generates the bases of competence. Managing Self Communication Managing People Mobilizing Innovation and Change

Literature Review The competence concept (by George Von Krogh and Johan Roos 1996) composes of Knowledge Experience Attitudes Exhibited personal characteristics.

Research Design Design a questionnaire for this research Survey the idea of Computer Science graduates about their competency and job advancement. Analyze the collected data and define competency which affect to job recruitment.

Conclusion and Future Work The collected data will be manipulated to display that the Competency will influence to the placement rate of Computer Science graduates. Learning about competency will be helpful for Computer Science students when they graduate.
