Insert client/date (edit in Master Slide 2) If we were to look in the rubbish bin after lunch – what would we find? Crisp packets? Cling film? Plastic bags? Plastic bottles? Juice cartons/pouches? Wrappers? Straws? Paper napkins? Food?

Oil is a non-renewable resource which means it will run out one day Extracting oil has lots of negative impacts on the environment These images show oil rigs at work. Most of the waste in our packed lunch boxes is plastic. But what is plastic made from?

Insert client/date (edit in Master Slide 2) This week our school will be taking part in Waste Free Lunch Week This week our school will be taking part in Devon’s ‘Waste Free Lunch’ week We will be joining schools across Devon to reduce our waste and protect our environment If you have a packed lunch, every day this week, please try and bring one which makes no waste We are entering a competition and could win a prize worth up to £250. To do this we need to reduce our packed lunch waste and run a good campaign that involves the whole school community
