In America, every day over 5 million straws get used and then thrown away.
Scientists have discovered that the amount of plastic waste going into the ocean each year is over 4.8 million tons.

Marine litter is not just ugly, it is dangerous for fish and other aquatic life.
Marine Litter is damaging to the scenic quality of the seaside.
Fish eat marine litter and as we eat fish the marine litter will eventually reach our digestive system.

STRAWS - Straws are so unnecessary and are not needed. If you use a straw use a paper one - at least they break down.
BOTTLES – Plastic bottles there are millions of plastic bottles in the ocean so why not use a reusable bottle.
