PLAY AND DISCOVER EUROPE! Questionnaire interpretation 6 June 2013 Liceul Teoretic Ion Creang ă, Tulcea

The questionnaires were applied to 120 students, 90 parents and 10 teachers. Here come the following conclusions after the interpretation of the data :

95% of our students know more about the European countries; 98% of our students learned about the culture, tradition, education and games of the partner countries; 96,5% of our students consider themselves lucky and happy to work with friends in this project; 100% of our students assert that they like the game and the song of this project;

92% of our students visited the website of this project and had the opportunity to compare different games in different countries; 100% of our students understood the importance of the English language and enjoyed playing games with their friends; 90 % of our students are interested in finding information about the games in other European countries; 100% of our students know that Romania is part of Europe;

The answers to the question : “My favorite part of this project” were: When I played Tomba Tumba with my friends; When I had the opportunity to be the cheerleader within the games of the project; When I learned about the partner countries of this project; When I played different games;

The answers to the question: “ The things I learned “ were: -The games, traditions, traditional costumes of the partner countries; -The traditional food in each country; -The flags and capitals of the partner countries; - The song “Play and discover Europe”;

100% of our parents and teachers noticed the children’s knowledge about the culture, tradition, education and games of the partner countries. The parents and teachers had the opportunity to visit the website of this project and to discover the children’s interest in finding information about other European countries. They also noticed that the students understood the importance of the English language and all the students liked the song and game of this project.

The teachers practiced the English language, they appreciated the direct intercultural changes and the common games of these countries. One thing is for sure: the children, the parents and the teachers had the opportunity to gain information, to make friends and the experience that they lived through will never be forgotten.

We are glad that you are our guests today, we are grateful for your involvement and for the wonderful things that we did together and…no matter the nationality, each of us is part of Europe! Although we are at the end of this project, I hope that this moment may be a new beginning so that our countries should continue the intercultural changes, friendships and everything that we achieved together!
