Emerging Issues  HPV – cervical cancer FDA approved HPV vaccine in 2007  Hepatitis B – liver cancer CDC recommended hepatitis B testing of immigrants from endemic areas in 2008 HPV vaccine has been available since 1982  Colorectal cancer screening Uptake remains relatively low and health disparities persist There are many projects across the network in these areas but we will only report on those that represent collaboration among sites.

Emerging Issues Physical activity and healthy nutrition for Obesity Control  Obesity among children and adults is a major public health issue  Linked to many cancers  Wide disparities are present  Structural or environmental approaches are scarce, often ill-conceived or not well implemented, and minimally evidence-based Should this issue be included in the manuscript? Does the CPCRN have relevant collaborative projects?
