What is Back to School Bash? Welcome new and returning students back for the year! Chance to meet new friends Reconnect with the old Blast into the upcoming school year

Goals Provide a gathering for social connections Boost School Morale Start the year off on an exciting beat! Great way to work together with various clubs to host the ultimate welcome back party. Build relationships with clubs for future opportunities

Activities Inflatables Tye Dye Shirts Brick Door Stops Painting Henna Snow Cones Popcorn Cotton Candy Carnival Style food Cake Walk Toss on the soda rings Gold fish balls into Prize table Live music Football toss through toilet seat Basketball shooting contest

Prizes Complete all the activities, fill out punch card… earn a chance to win Sweet Prizes!! Great Place to have past council members come help work!

Organization People? Council Member Resident Assistants Res Life Staff Various Campus Clubs Campus Sports

Time Frame End of the previous School Year: – Ask for $ from clubs, local businesses, or fundraise! – Determine Theme – Line up Volunteers – Determine Date of Event (Orientation week)

People? Depends on how big of an event… WSU: – 1 Student and 1 Hall Director Co-Chairs – 5-8 Students on the Committee – All RAs helps staff the event – Various Clubs helps staff event and donate to the prize table
