Especially relevant in the context of multi-SDO standardisation ETSI approach Manage for interoperability! Design for interoperability! Validate for interoperability! Test for interoperability! 4 Some Issues for Panel 3? Do standards enable or hinder interoperability? How to recognize which areas of an ETP should be standardised? How to capitalise on the practical activities of ETPs (prototypes, platforms, testbeds) to ensure feedback into standardisation (validation)? How to effectively involve standards bodies in ETPs from an early stage (and vice versa)? How to ensure that ETP results can easily be assimilated into standards? How to ensure consistent standardisation in a multi- SDO environment, also taking ETP input into account? Ensuring interoperability between ETPs (for example e-mobility and NEM) Maintenance? Standards must live a long time!
