Mandatory Assessment and Accreditation  Mandatory Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions  University Grants Commission guidelines  Organisation of a “National Seminar on Assessment and Accreditation – A tool to enhance quality and excellence in higher education”

Mandatory Assessment and Accreditation  It is now mandatory for each Higher Educational institution to get accredited by the Accreditation Agency after passing out of two batches or six years, whichever is earlier, in accordance with the norms and methodology prescribed by such agency or the Commission, as the case may be

Mandatory Assessment and Accreditation  Every Higher Educational Institution which has completed six years of existence or two batches having passed out which ever is earlier, shall apply within six months from the date of coming into force of these regulations, to the Accreditation Agency, for accreditation

Mandatory Assessment and Accreditation  The Higher Educational Institutions, which have not completed six years of existence or two batches having passed out, whichever is earlier, shall, within a period of six months from date of such completion apply to the Accreditation Agency for accreditation

Period of Validity and Reaccreditation  The accreditation will be valid for a period of five years  It shall be mandatory for each accredited Higher Educational institution to apply for Reaccreditation six months before the expiry of the five year period in accordance with the norms and procedures prescribed by the relevant Accreditation Agency

Examination Matters  Introduction of online question papers for the PG and Professional Courses from the academic year onwards  Introduction of the system of downloading the hall tickets from the University website for UG Examination

Examination Matters  Principals of Examination Centers to act as Chief Superintendant of various UG and PG examinations  Enhancement of the examination fee and other fee payable by the students for the academic year

Distance Education by KRU  Establishment of Centre for Distance Education and offer ODL programmes from the academic year onwards.

NSS  Advisory Committee to be formed as per guidelines provided  Advisory Committee meeting to be held before 10 th Aug 2013  Regular Activities to be conducted as per the schedule  Special Camping Programmes to be conducted in vacation

NSS  The enrolment volunteers per unit & Blood grouping to be done  Blood donation camp - monthly once (50 units)  Plantation - Monthly once (Total 100 plants)  Pulse Polio Immunization children to be administered per unit

NSS  Previous year’s Utilization Certificate, original bills & reports to be submitted by 30 th July 2103  Immediate response to the mails sent by the NSS Cell, KRU  Certificates are ready for distribution to volunteers

Other Matters  South Zone Inter University Kabaddi (women) Tournament for the year to be organised by Krishna University allotted by Association of Indian University  Appointment of Physical Director  Finalising the dates to conduct the Youth Festival  Constitution of Committees for coordination and organising the event
