Support for learning and study Course Reserves / e-Reserves 2346 courses supported per year (text, audio, media) Information and research assistance in person: information and reference desks; by phone; by appointment; labs and info commons; in departments virtual: Ask a Librarian ( , 24/7 chat, text), course and subject guides Instructional sessions (1215 per year - 2 nd highest in the UC) class-related (by arrangement with faculty) specialized sessions for academic groups Outreach activities exhibits (e.g., Pirates in Print, Harry Potter’s World) events (e.g., Undergraduate Library Research Prize, Student Book Collecting Contest, Late-night Halloween horror film!)
