4  Go to a store, such as a grocery or convenience store: Locate an item, such as peanut butter ○ What is located by the item you chose? ○ How are those items related to the item you chose? ○ Are there other categories of products nearby? ○ Why are the items arranged this way? Locate a second item; one that is related to your first choice ○ How close is it to the first item? ○ How many brands are there? ○ How many sizes? ○ What other flavors are available and what else is by the second item?  Go to Ellis Library: Locate any shelf of books ○ Consider the above questions in relation to the books, as well as these: ○ How is the library organized? ○ How do you know where to go to find what you need? ○ How does it relate to the PB arrangement in the store?  Type a one page, double spaced paper answering these questions  Worth 10% of your grade, due next class period
