Wednesday, June 11, 2014 Everyone meets at Everyone meets at East Northport Train Station in the morning ► Be there at am (not school) ► Be there at 8:30 am (not school) ► with your teacher (have chaperone with you!) ► Check in with your teacher (have chaperone with you!) ► Wait PATIENTLY at Station and BEST BEHAVIOR NO Running, Climbing, Chasing, etc!

On The Train…   Listen for directions  all times  Stay with your chaperone at all times   No walking around train! Be safe!

At Penn Station, NYC  Stay with your Chaperone  Line up with your teacher and your class  Follow signs

Subway Riding  Follow directions  Let NYC commuters pass by-they are going to work  Follow signs and class

Day at the Museum  Looking at exhibits, especially Space, Hall of Biodiversity, Multicultural  Lunch reservations in the cafeteria at 12:30  Make sure you have tickets if you walk outside  Learn a lot for you Special Assignment

Your Museum Work Be a detective for our class! Read and Learn! Find three new ideas/ or interesting objects in the Rose Space Center, Culture Halls and Animal Dioramas. Record the information about it on your Museum Fact Cards. Make sure you take a picture too! Write about it and bring it in to share! (Your teacher will give you the date its due!)

Time to Return…  EVERYONE WILL MEET IN THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE MUSEUM.  Check in with your teacher..and stay put!  Wait for signal and signs to follow back to Subway, back to train

Other Stuff…  No Flip Flops!  Wear Tie Dye Shirt  Souvenirs are up to your chaperone  Remember a camera  Bring lunch, buying there can be expensive  Have fun!
