Strategies for addressing conflict in relationships Every person have problems at work, home and even in relationships. Problems are everywhere and the effect of it revolves on how we manage it. Problems can be positive or negative

Strategies for conflicts in relationships 1.Stay calm and do not permit yourself to be depressed 2. Hear him out and pay attention to what the your partner is actually trying to say. 3. Let him or her know you are listening 4. Do not criticize or judge first – just accept his or her opinion, even if you are opposing to it. 5. State your own point of view in a calm manner 6. If needed, agree to disagree. 7. You are not needed to be right. 8. Tell him or her you will reflect on to his or her concerns. 9. If it becomes heated, suggest to conclude the argument for some time, when everything is calm 10. Thank your partner for expressing his point of view 11. Show some type of affection when the discussion is finished. Let you company know you are ready to listen and be calm. If you get depressed, it will make matters worse. Talk with a calm tone. Do not criticize or judge your partner. Provide your point of view and opinions in a calm tone. You are not required to agree on everything. Do not blame anyone. Hear them out and reflect on everything you heard. If your dialogue builds up tension, take a break and finish it when everything is calm. Thank your partner for talking with you on your problems. Do not be mad and finish the discussion and doing something together.

Comparing Types of Love Relationships The Various Types of Love in Relationships Agape Love- Pure form of love; unwavering, strong, unconditional, forever, unwavering and eternal. Parental Love - The love in parents and their children. Filial Love - Child gives towards a parent. Romantic Love - Persist between a man and a woman, boy and girl, husband and wife. Agape love - “No person can terminate this love for it is secure, potent and solid.” Parental love – “Parents have a deep biological connection to their children in which desires to serve and protect.” Filial love – “Kind of live that is strengthened with a sense of belongingness to a family.” Romantic Love – “There is a common dilemma in true romantic love with infatuation, sexual intercourse and liking.”

Societal Influences and Effects Single-parent homes influence and affects the poverty population Low Income Burdensome transitions for child(ren) Different set of challenges Changes needed for building latest skills. Divorce or inhabiting a single-parent home advances to a process decline involving economic instances regarding the single mother and her children. Single parent homes are statistically demonstrated as a part of the poverty population. Low income developing to divorce settlement or deprivation of child suppor payments. Transition to divorce or coping with single parent home can be burdensome for some children. Cultivation with a single mother gives the child a unique set of challenges. Time for cultivation is needed for formulation new life techniques and coping tactics. Children from divorce or growing up in a single parent home formulates competence and independence that fortifies them to cope with stressors in life.

Individual Influences Self-Esteem Reduced feelings of competitiveness and low self confidence Delinquency More influenced by friends The absence of dual parenting and economic problems can advance to reduced feelings of competitiveness and low self confidence. The absence of parental guidance causes children to be more influenced by friends.
