6  Taking criticism badly  Thinking your unable to finish ideas to the best quality  Changes in your eating and sleeping routine  Substance abuse  Having problems with authority  Suicidal thoughts or actions

7  Failing Grades  Failing Relationship with Family and Friends  Substance Abuse  Other Negative Behaviors  Extensive Sleeping  Criminal Behavior  Obsession with Death  Suicidal Thoughts  Fear of Death or Dying

11  30% of depressed teens develop substance abuse  Teens with depression normally have a small circle of friends (not very social)  Teens with untreated depression often engage in risky sexual activity  Teens with depression often catch illnesses  Untreated depression often leads to suicide

12  Try to avoid drugs and alcohol  Hang out with friends  Have a good social life  Get therapy if depression starts getting bad

13  Take PERSCRIBED medication  Eat healthy  Get exercise and sleep  Thin about having a journal and record what happens through out your days  Avoid anything you think may cause you depression  Get help

14  Offer support  Visit Family Doctor  School Counsellor  Listen Without Lecturing  Psychotherapy
