Genetically Engineered Examples

The jellyfish glow gene has become a powerful tool for studying molecules inside living cells.

52 % of cotton grown last year was genetically engineered with a bacteria gene to resist bugs.

Glow in the Dark Plant A glowing tobacco plant that has the glowing jellyfish gene implanted.

Glow in the Dark Mouse A glowing mouse that had the glowing jellyfish gene implanted.

A cat in Korea was engineered to glow in the dark. How could this help with disease research? The cat’s skin glows.

A Genetically Engineered Tomato, so what’s the BIG DEAL?
