University of Brighton Faculty of Arts World class UK degree courses: Established in 1859 with a long creative history. Creative and academic learning. Professional and career focused. Learn and live in a creative and culturally vibrant environment. University life set in beautiful, cosmopolitan locations on the south coast of England.

Fast facts Over 23,000 students study at the University each year. We have a long and distinguished history of creative and applied learning. The Faculty of Arts is situated on four sites including buildings in the cultural hearts of both Brighton and Hastings. Faculty includes two schools with over 3,500 students Students from over 100 nationalities. Staff from over 50 countries of the world.

Research 65% of our research in art and design is 'internationally excellent’ RAE International partners in research, learning and teaching – international cultural institutions, businesses and universities. Opportunities for study from BA to PhD including MDes, MFA, MA and MRes in Arts and Cultural Research. PhD students join the Doctoral College that supports a vibrant research community.
