經濟部能源局 Bureau of Energy 2 Objectives The purpose of this initiative is to establish a framework to promote the market development of green energy products in APEC region by the facilitation of trade and investment, the elimination of market barriers and the harmonization of product standards. Potential benefits  Improve capacity building of green energy markets in APEC economies.  Activate the the market development of green energy products  Increase the probability of achieving APEC’s goal of energy intensity reduction  Deepen the effectiveness and integration of climate change policies in APEC region
