Welcome Lime class (year 3) Information for Parents Mr Fonth September 2012

The Curriculum Literacy - variety of story writing units, non-fiction units, poetry and plays. Children will also complete a big write every other week. Numeracy - number, shape and space, data handling, using and applying, mental maths and times tables.

Science - Teeth and Eating ICT - electronic communication ( ) PE - Gymnastics and Invasion Games Geography - a locality in the UK (London) Art - Painting RE - Islam Singing with Mrs Farnworth

Reading One guided reading session a week Silent reading at least 4 times a week Children will be listened to reading by an adult in school each week Children are encouraged to read at home as much as possible

Class expectations Always try your best Put your hand up if you want to talk Be polite and use our manners Look and listen to whoever is speaking Talk quietly in the classroom Rewards 1.
