11 Open Door Policy Before school After school (preferably not Wednesdays) Send a note in Before school – busy so encourage to come in at the end of school

12 Playground Rules No physical contact (play fighting) No abusive or foul language No entering the school without permission Be respectful to all adults 1 – warning 2 – stand by the wall

13 School Rules We always walk in school We work hard We are polite We are honest We always listen We are kind and helpful Use these as a basis for our own class rules

14 Traffic Light System Move out of green = first warning Move into amber = 5 minutes time out in class Move into red = 5/10 minutes time out of class Consistent approach across all classes and sets

15 Home Reading System Log on twice a week at home. Children should be spending time on the questions and use the correct grammar and punctuation.

19 SATs – Year 6 Week beginning 11th May Reading, SPAG and Maths tests Changes to SATs Revision in school Revision guides will be given out at parents evening in October No holidays in this time.
