Route to Accreditation  Organisation applies for accreditation  Respect appoints two assessors  Organisation undertakes a desk top review  Assessor reviews the desk top review  Assessors undertakes site visit  Assessor reports back their findings to the organisation

Route to Accreditation  Assessor completes report to panel  Panel meeting – assessor and organisation represented – final decision  If granted accreditation – 3 years  Possibility of random site visit during the period of accreditation

What accreditation covers  Management of the Organisation  Service structure and process  Diversity  Risk management  Children  Partnership working

Referral Data  At the referral stage – gender, age, ethnicity, referral route, children (number and age), other agencies involved (e.g. family court, drug and alcohol agency)  At the assessment stage –partner details, history of violence and abuse, substance misuse, mental health (including suicidal thoughts), prescribed drug use, disability, previous partner details if still in contact
